Converging Arts Columbus began to take shape as we recognized a growing need in Columbus for a professional ensemble that specializes in choral repertoire beyond what is traditionally found in the operatic and symphonic spaces.

Beyond the need for a professional vocal ensemble, the vision for the organization’s programming is rooted in a collaborative and multi-artistic structure. Converging Arts Columbus focuses on creating new and unique programs that converge vocal music with a variety of artistic expressions including dance, theater, multimedia, and chamber music. The collaborative nature of our venture is aimed to not only create programs with a new and unique perspective, but also encourage an appreciation for the wide variety of arts that already exist in Columbus.

Converging Arts Columbus is also committed to collaborating with local organizations and engaging local artists in its programming. Central Ohio has no shortage of talented individuals, and our goal is to provide yet another professional space for artists to create and express together.
